Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 28, 2026
Tooth Fairy Magic Co. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website toothfairymagicco.github.io and the internal application TFMC Pin Scheduler. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate our services:
- Website visitors: We do not collect personal information from visitors to our website. We do not use cookies or tracking scripts.
- Pinterest integration: Our internal application (TFMC Pin Scheduler) connects to the Pinterest API using OAuth 2.0 authentication. We only access the account of the shop owner (a single authorized user). We access board information and create pins on behalf of the authorized account owner.
- Etsy integration: We access our own Etsy shop data (product listings, images) to create Pinterest pins that link back to our Etsy listings.
2. Pinterest API Data Usage
Important: Our use of the Pinterest API is strictly limited to our own business account. We do not access, collect, or store data from any other Pinterest users.
Specifically regarding Pinterest data:
- We use the Pinterest API v5 to create pins (
POST /v5/pins) and list boards (GET /v5/boards) on our own Pinterest business account. - We authenticate via OAuth 2.0. The access token is stored securely in a local environment file (
.env) on our private server and is never shared, transmitted, or exposed publicly. - We do not store any information obtained through the Pinterest API beyond what is necessary for the immediate pin creation operation. We call the API each time we need to access information, as required by Pinterest's developer guidelines.
- We do not access any other user's Pinterest account, data, or content.
- We do not sell, share, or transmit Pinterest data to any third parties.
- We do not use Pinterest data for advertising targeting, audience building, or any purpose beyond creating and managing pins for our own Etsy shop products.
- We do not combine Pinterest account information with information from other accounts or services.
3. How We Use Information
The information we access is used solely for:
- Creating pins that showcase our Etsy product listings on our Pinterest boards
- Organizing pins into relevant thematic boards
- Driving organic traffic from Pinterest to our Etsy shop
We create approximately 20-40 pins per month, each containing a product mockup image, an SEO-optimized title and description, and a direct link to the corresponding Etsy listing.
4. Data Storage and Security
- API credentials (OAuth tokens, API keys) are stored locally in environment variables on our private development server.
- No credentials or API data are committed to version control or exposed publicly.
- Access to the application is restricted to the shop owner only (single-user internal tool).
- We follow Pinterest's developer guidelines for secure credential handling.
5. Third-Party Services
Our application integrates with the following services:
- Pinterest API v5 — for creating pins and managing boards (Pinterest Privacy Policy)
- Etsy API v3 — for accessing our own shop listing data (Etsy Privacy Policy)
- Printify API — for product creation and fulfillment (Printify Privacy Policy)
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.
6. Children's Privacy
While our products are designed for children's milestones, our website and application are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our application is used exclusively by the adult shop owner for business operations.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We do not maintain a persistent store of Pinterest API data. Pin creation data is processed in real-time and not retained after the API call completes. OAuth tokens can be revoked at any time through Pinterest's account settings.
8. Your Rights
If you have any questions about your data or wish to exercise your privacy rights, you may:
- Contact us at toothfairymagicco@gmail.com
- Revoke our application's access through your Pinterest account settings
- Request information about what data we have accessed
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
